December 31, 2008 — Now that editor Margaret Clark has broken the news on TrekMovie.com, I can post it here: One of my upcoming projects will be an expansion of my 2007 Star Trek: Mirror Universe short novel, The Sorrows of Empire. Read more about this on my blog. December 31, 2008 — During the past two months, I've posted snippets from and links back to new reviews of Gods of Night, Mere Mortals, Lost Souls, and the Star Trek: Mirror Universe short-story anthology Shards and Shadows, which contains my tale, "For Want of a Nail." November 3, 2008 — SciFiChick.com has posted the first review (online or in print) of the final book in the Star Trek Destiny trilogy, Lost Souls. October 2, 2008 — SciFiChick.com has posted the first review (online or in print) of the second book in the Star Trek Destiny trilogy, Mere Mortals. Its money quote (in my opinion): "Mere Mortals ends on a major cliffhanger that left me on the edge of my seat. I'm eagerly awaiting the conclusion — Lost Souls, set to release in late November. Again, Star Trek fans, don't miss this crossover trilogy!" September 28, 2008 — ComicMix.com has posted a Q&A with yours truly that covers not only my new Star Trek Destiny trilogy but also how I got started in this crazy business, the idea behind Star Trek Vanguard, and what's coming up from me in the near future. Check it out! September 20, 2008 — Steve Roby has posted a lengthy and very well-reasoned review of Star Trek Destiny, Book I: Gods of Night on his blog. The money quote: "This is how to do a Star Trek crossover. With epic scope, intensity, and raw emotion, Gods of Night is a powerful beginning to a story that looks likely to have real consequences for the Star Trek universe. Not to be missed." September 19, 2008 — Jeff Ayers has reviewed Star Trek Destiny, Book I: Gods of Night for TrekWeb, giving it a 10 out of 10 rating. September 11, 2008 — TrekMovie.com has posted Robert Lyons's laudatory review of Gods of Night, the first volume in my new Star Trek Destiny trilogy. September 03, 2008 — Unreality-SF.net interviewed me regarding my upcoming Destiny trilogy. I urge everyone to check this out, because Jens Deffner and editor Daniel Berry did a great job on this one.
